Amber Vitti Hill

Amber is a creative coach, writer, and mother who believes creativity isn’t a luxury, it is an essential part of a full and meaningful life. Her work centers on helping people make space for their creative lives amid all the demands of their busy ones: slowing down, paying attention, beginning again, and finding their way back to the work that matters to them.

With a background in writing, teaching, and counseling, Amber brings both curiosity and compassion to her work as a coach. She earned her English degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in English and Education from Columbia University, then spent more than a decade teaching writing and literature before moving into counseling, where she helped teenagers and their families navigate educational choices and transitions.

Amber has served on the board of EPIC Writers in Edmonds, Washington, and her short stories and poetry have appeared in small literary magazines. She continues to write fiction and poetry of her own. She is a certified Master Coach through the Koren Brothers’ Your Big Voice program and a certified Creative Coach, having studied with Eric Maisel, author of Van Gogh Blues and Fearless Creating.
